Avondale Racecourse Alliance (ARA) advocates for community-led outcomes in the future development of the Avondale Racecourse land. Our collective engages with local government, business and community stakeholders, and the wider public. We make the case for maximum public green space, ecological protection, cultural enhancement, and accountability from decision makers. We call for transparency throughout the transfer and sale of the Avondale Racecourse land. ARA supports independent research, builds public awareness, and mobilises community to ensure this large, pivotal site delivers long-term benefits for the people of Avondale and Tāmaki Makaurau.
